Partitioning Hard Drive + 1024 cylinder

by sandeman59 . Updated 24 years, 7 months ago

I have a 30Ghz hard drive and wish to partition it into 3 primary partitions and load 3 different operating systems. The first partition will be Win98, second: Win 2000, third Linux. The only problem is that everything I read about the 1024 cylinderis that an operating system will not boot past this point. That leaves me with a lot of wated space and very small partitions. How can I load 3 different operating systems? I am using Partition magic.
