Partitioning Hard Drive

Can someone tell me how to partition a hard drive when I have no unallocated space on it? I have an old Compaq Presario Server with 2003 Server on it and want to install Linux on another partition so that I can dual boot. I have a feeling I might need some 3rd party software in which case is there a good free (or really cheap!) one anyone can recommend? Thanks a lot!
