Paste HTML file into HOTMAIL message

I have a client who wants to paste the contents of a Word 97 document which contains jpg pictures and gif graphics into a HOTMAIL message. The text paste OK but the jpg files are place marked only and the gif files are ignored. Machine is Pentium with 64mb memory, 80% resources free and over 1GB available on HD. Disk has been cleaned. Any suggestions?
