pc crashing

windows xp professional – while working with system – all at once crashes and get message “A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer” – then goes into a memory dump – tech info says “missing program file c\program files[common files\installshieeld\professional\runtime\0700\intel32\doNet installer.exe cannot access a necessary file miscoree.dll – I’m not a tech – what do I do?
