I have been working on an athlon 700 sys runing winXP, it keeps on restarting by it self, when it comes back to windows it gives me an error message some thing like BCCcode: folowed by a #,BCP1: #, BCP2: # etc. when i click on veiw technical information about error report it says; following files will be included in the report;
c:\windows\minidump\mini071800-01.dmp
C:\docume~\user\locals~1\temp\wer1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml
what is minidump folder used for? what files are sent there and Y? mini071800-01.dmp what is this file related to? how do you throubleshoot this kind of problems from scratch? Please i need some advice, where should I start?
I don’t understand this error or what those files are, what is this error related to, aparentlythe PC had been working fine for months, I re-instaled windows but it is still doing it, and im geting the exact same message! HELP
