PC shutdown and reboot automatically

I have a NEC Ready S125 AMD 450 mhz K6-2 with 256MB ram, 30GB maxtor hd with win98se.

When shutdown is selected it completes successfully. Then after about 3-5 seconds the PC reboots on its own. Any ideas on how to stop it?

I have checked the BIOS settings and all power settings are disabled. I checked all the pwr settings on the nic card and those are all disabled. I have checked the pwr settings in the control panel and those are all disabled. I have read thru the MS knowledge base item Q202633 regarding Fastshutdown and the registry item is set to ‘0’ disabled. I have AVG 6.0 running and it hasn’t found any viruses and AVG is up to date.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
