pcAnywhere via IPX through RAS

by scottorgan . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

I have an NT4 server running RAS, configured to pass both IP and IPX to the network. My desktop PC (Win98) is running pcAnywhere in Host mode via IPX. I can use my Laptop (Win98) to remote control my desktop using pcAnywhere over IPX at the office, but when I try to do it from home by dialing into the RAS server, it can’t find my Host.
I can use IPX to access other network resources through the RAS, so I know it’s passing IPX through… Any ideas what I can do to get this working?
Also, I can make pcAnywhere work through the RAS by using IP, but that is not a viable option in this scenario.
