pci-e ati video card no signal

I have an Asus motherboard with an ATI radeon 256k pci-e video card. All of a sudden I’ve lost the signal. I do not know how I got it working but once working everthing was fine. Now it has happened again. The video card has a fan and the fan is getting power??!? Any ideas?
