PCI IDE Card

I have installed a PCI IDE card in my computer and I have attached to it a DVD Rom drive and a Seagate 80gb HDD. I would like to know how I can get Windows to recognise there is another drive. I currently have 2 hard drives connected to the main IDE channel on the motherboard.

I am wanting to use the other driver for storage purposes but as I mentioned above, I need to be able to see it in Windows.

I run Windows 2000 Pro with SP3, AMD 2500+ and 1gb DDR ram.
