PCIe card issues…again. Card not recognized.

I have a GeForce 7600 GS PCIe w/512MB RAM.
When I first installed it everything was grrreat!
One day out of nowhere, all games now ran on “fast forward”, making them impossible to play. When trying to tweak or re-install the graphics card the PNY(yes, PNY) driver disc says “none installed” for my graphics card. I’ve tried Nvidia and PNY’s websites for Forceware, and they install, but none of them solve the “fast forward” problem. The mobo has an onboard analog, which I’ve disabled, but my card is a DVI, and my LCD is connected ONLY via DVI. I’m a freakin guru and I’m completely lost. I need some ideas. HELP!!!
