Peer to Peer /win2k to WinME

OK I have barely looked at Win2K. Didnt think there would be much curve.

Any way heres the prob:
New IBM with win2k installed and one Compaq laptop with Win ME. Each have good NICs into a Netgear hub. Both have names and a workgrp name. only 1 passwrd was set. When I couldnt get the Compaq access to the IBM I got rid of NETBEUI and used only TCP so I could trbleshoot. Connection good and live. Both see each other.

But Compaq cannot access the IBM, IBM CAN access the Compaq. Yes both areusing FAT32.

Try as I might, I sadly admit I dont understand why I cant get the Compaq access to the IBM. It keeps asking for a password, which was not set by me.

I have 2 days before I lose this job, HLP FAST!
