perfmon disk monitor/messaging

Hi Guys,
Does any one remember or know how to setup the diskspace alerter in performance monitor to display a message on the server when the disk is close to full (i.e 90%)? I setup the alerter but i can’t seem to figure out how to make it display the message on the server. Thanks in advance
