Performance problems on Win98 machine

I have a Packard Bell 333Mhz with 64mb memory and this machine is extremely slow. Besides upgrading processor/memory are there things that I should be making sure that I do to help clean up/speed up? I may have tried some of these things already, but I want to make sure there isn’t something I may have missed. I’ve tried cleaning up temp directories, defragging the disk, cleaning up temporary internet files, etc.
