Personal Web Server with XP Home

with W98, I used to have Microsoft Personal Web server. But now that I have XP Home that’s no longer an option and doesn’t appear to be microsoft recommended either. Is there some way I can still do asp development or similar database connection for my web pages via XP Home? I don’t want to have to purchase an upgrade to XP Pro.
