Physical Memory Dump Error..

I have a friend that tried to print off some documents off the web and his pc dropped into a physical memory dump window looking like the pc had crashed. It said that it was successful at the bottom of the screen. Is this a sign of bad things to come or is this normal to happen. I am familair with normal Chkdumps that are pretty hard to recover from. Is this the same? After rebooting the pc worked fine.
