Points for Veterans

Monday May 31st is Memorial Day in the United States.

In honor of the contributions of all armed forces Veterans, I have decided to award points to all peers who have served their country.

The rules are simple.
State the branch of service and your rank.

If you are willing, please share a short story of an event from your time in the service.
Or, how serving your country made an impact on your life.

If needed, I will adjust the point total so that all responders get at least 100 points.

Please do not respond if you have never served in the armed forces.

I will close this question sometime next weekend.
