Poor MS NLB performance

I have implemented MS-NLB on two servers running IIS 5.0. My problem is that I’m getting at big delay, from when the browser states “website found” to when it says “opening website…..”. Have any of you experienced this problem and/or do you have any idea, how to solve this problem.
