powecolor radeon 9600XT

I purchased a powercolor radeon 9600XT. I need to know is it compaitable with the ABIT KR7A-raid motherboard. When I install it I get computer post beeps. 1 long, 2 short. Can you help by telling me what I need to do to fix this problem?
