PowerBook Duo 280 won’t start

Long shot but I thought I’d ask if anybody knows a site out there that tells you what the various sad startup tones mean for an old PowerBook Duo 280. I got it on eBay and it worked for a little while, but now when I try to power it up there’s a sad little tune it plays and then nothing. I assume the sad tune is probably telling me something specific, like the hard drive failed or RAM is corrupted or something.
