Presentation Management Software

Everyone has seen Powerpoint Presentations with Projectors by now. My question focuses on the setup. No one wants to see the presenter opening his/her file – that’s a peeve of mine. Is there a way to hide the mechanics of the PC file setup from the audience?

For example, My Church uses software that switches to a Picture when the Presentation is changing (between Sermon Outline, songs, etc). Does there exist a business presentation software package that will ‘manage’ what is being projected to the audience as opposed to what is on the notebook or desktop Monitor?
