Preserving shares within the same server

I have a share in a partition (D$) on my server containing user home directories (1000). I have had another hard drive installed and I now wish to transfer all my user directories over to a partition on the new hard drive. I have used subinacl to take ownership of all the files and then scopy to transfer all the directories to the new (F$) drive. This part has been successful. My problem is that the directories are no longer shared. I am running a security software product called Ranger that requires these directories to be shared. I would appreciate any help.
