Primary domain Controller

I want to upgrade our Primary Domain Controller from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000. We have other SQL database servers and Exchange server running. Current they using Windows NT authentication. If I upgrade to windows 2000 should I take any precautionary steps. Please advice me
