Print Job Notification

I have a user complaining that he is receiving Print job notification on his workstation from another user’s completed print job. Running win2000 on both machines using HP printers. Under printer properties on the offending machine print job notification option does not appear. This is the only occurence of this issue out of 120 nodes. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!
