We have a Windows 2000 terminal services Server, which we had Capio thin clients attached. I’ve since replaced all but 5 of the thin clients with workstations. Recently, I replaced 3 of the thin clients at our front desk with computers and installeda Netgear print server to service these 3 workstations. Our legacy DOS application uses LPT1&2 so I put a batch file in the ALL USERS/STARTUP folder to set LPT1 to the Netgear print server so whoever signed in the these machines would be directed tothe Netgear PS110. Everything seemed fine till a user who had signed in to a front desk machine, signed in to another computer in maintenance. Instead of the print jobs going to the local printer attached to the maintenance computer, they’re going to the Netgear PS at the front desk. Her profile config is being picked up by the Server and replicated to the maintenance workstation, I guess. How is this happening and how do I resolve it?
