Print Spooler crashes

I have a win2k printer server connected to hp printers and lexmark optra 312l with jetdirect boxes. The spooler crashes every few minutes with thesse errors:
1 Document failed to print due to GDI/Driver error in rendering.
2 Application popup: spoolsv.exe – Application Error : The instruction at “0x77fcb9b1” referenced memory at “0x00000000”. The memory could not be “written”.
I have been to other sites and see where other admins have the same issue but I have not see any solutions that would solve the problem we are have.
