Printer configuration

I have a configuration problem with my canon LBP 810 printer in WIN XP. It was working properly then after it was moved in the list of printers and I tried to reinstall it but whenever I clicked add printer I get an error message that the operion can’t be completed then I tried to uninstall the drivers but I failed completely so what can I do to reinstall the printer
