We have a small, win2k-advanced server driven network.
One of the clients is an XP-pro machine. On this PC a HP-Laserjet1000 is connected. If a user logs-on to the domain on the XP-machine, printing is ok.
However, If a user logs-on to an other (win2K) machine on our lan, he/she may not install and use the HP-printer. Only when the user is made a member of the built-in group “Enterprise Admins”, he/she can install and use the HP printer.
Ofcouse we just want our users to be “users/domain users” and not enterprice admins.
Who has a solution for this annoying problem?
