printer migration

I have to create new que’s and rename 40 network printer’s then change 300 user’s mapping’s to reflect the new printer name’s. Under Windows NT this was a snap with the chgprint utility, but there is nothing I know of that works for Windows 2000 desktops, any sugestion’s on how to change all the user’s printer mapping in a script so I don’t have to visit 300 computer’s.
