i have a single pdc running three pc suite running NT 4 and we are about to add a new server with and other suite..
each suite has 28-30 machines with 2-3 printer and increasing / changing regularly
workstation naming plan names for example
roomname_pc_number
c19_pc_01 unless it has a printer attached then it would be c19_pc_01P
we are a school so all user must be able to logon on any where on campus and print.. currently they can print any where on site.
i what to be ableto allow all user to print but only into the room in which they are logon on in.
is there a script ie logon that will allow me to say IF PC name start with c19 these list of printer are to be use.. or is there any easy way
i need some help asin two weeks i’m making a new profiles which will be .man for every year group and user 10 profiles in total so i would like to get it right first time
