Printers disappear from Printers folder

On one particular computer, all the installed printers disappear from the Printers folder, thus making it impossible to print from Windows applications.

When rebooting the computer, the printers are back and are functioning normally. This occurs every now and then, especially after the user has printed several documents from Word and Excel.

The computer has Win98 installed, as well as Office 97.

I couldn’t seem to find any useful info on this on TechNet, so do any of you know about this problem?
