printing file lists from windows

Ages back you could print contents of a directory with a DOS command. I know I’ve seen or heard about a way to do this using windows, or maybe it was only with W2k. Can anyone refresh my stale memory about how to print lists of folder contents without having to switch to UNIX or go buy CorelWPO?
