I have created a database in Access 2000 for new orders received daily. We import this file into our United Parcel shipping computer. Some the new orders are mailed because the cost of the shipping can be greater than the cost of the product. Would I do a report or a form in Access to print an individual shipping label? If the shipping label is say 2″ x 4″ can I make the printer stop at the bottom of the label so the next label can be printed without have to be reset on a label by label basis? I want to use a dot matrix printer for this label, because I can buy stock blank labels. I am fairly new to Access, but truly enjoy working with it. Please keep this in mind when answer this question. When I do print the label will the field names print, ie. Address1, Address2 etc. I only with the information contained in the fields to be printed.
