Printing problem

I have a user running W2K. I added a network printer to his machine, an HP990. When I print to this printer nothing prints. No errors. No messages. I can see the job pass thru the queue. The NT 4 log show that a job has printed. But no print. Where could this be disappearing too? Thanks for any thoughts.
