Printing the Internet usage activity

I am a Technical Specalist for a School District. I need a way to track Student and Staff Internet Usage. I am aware of utilities that capture a users Internet activity. And these utilities create their own Internet usage transaction files. My question is, is there any utility that would utilize MS Internet Explorer’s [5.0, 5.5, 6.0] and Netcape’s existing file and data structure and provide a reporting capability the way the Windows Explorer does when viewing C:\Windows\Temporary Internet Files???

Also, I am looking for a utility, again, utilizing the existing data provided by Internet Explorer or Netscape, that would allow me to view chat sessions on the Desktop?
