Printronix P6040 Interface

With the limited info I have on Printronix P6040 it looks like the DB25 interface connector will support both parallel and serial connection. Does anyone know if that is a true statement?
Printronix’s web site has no info on this printer, I know itis an old printer but you would think they would still at least give technical info on their product.
