Problem access an other LAN system

by wloucks . Updated 19 years, 5 months ago

* Network Setup:

Cable modem –> Router –+–> W2K Prof (Host: Bigkid/192.168.0.4 static)
|
+–> W2K Prof (Host: LittleSis/192.168.0.1 static)
|
+–> XP Home (Host: SR71/192.168.0.3 static)

* Problem:

I installed Network Magic on Bigkid, then I uninstalled it because it didn’t
give me any addition information. However, since I installed it on Bigkid,
SR71 can’t access Bigkid over the LAN. Before installing Network Magic, when
I’d try to access Bigkid from SR71 via My Network Places a login window would
pop up and I would logon and then I could see the drives and access them. Now,
however, when I use My Network Places, I don’t get a login window that pops up
so I can login to Bigkid and I can see the different drives on Bigkid. When
I click on a drive, it comes back with access denied.

Please help me put my computer back to what it was like before installing
Network Magic.
