Problem after bootup

I removed a primary slave hard drive with no apparent data. I replaced it a previously used drive (was a prim. master). Now upon boot-up I get a box stating “Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes….”. A second box then states it is logging on with a temporary profile. Next I get a Desktop picture, some icons are missing ,bookmarks are missing and my old email and address has disappeared.
