Problem automating mail merge error 2754

Hi,

We are having problems with a client who is running an old version of our
software on Access version 2. The platform he is running on is Windows 98
SE.

There is a facility in our package to use mail merge to Word. The Word
version he isusing is 97. The problem he is getting is that the merge fails
with the error no 2754 – Unable to open DataSource during mail merge. If he
does the mail merge manually the merge works, it only fails if automated
using OLE.

We have checked thatthere are no text drivers in the ODBC connections as we
have experienced these causing problems in the past.
