Problem 1 , I have one system a pent 550 mhz , I installed Win2000 server and it works just fine, however after about a day the screen just freezes up, I can move the mouse but I can not open or close anything, also, the system can not be seen ob the network when this happens. The first thing I did was swap out memory, tried a few diff brands and same problem occurs.
The only msg in event log is Event ID 7022 Removable storage hung on start up, but I dont think this is an issue.
Problem 2
I am installing Win2000 Server on another system, a pentium166 and after it finishes the dos portion of the install it asks to press any key to re-boot and start the windows portion of the install, when I do the system freezes at the re-boot. I tried a softre-boot same thing. If I try a re-boot from the floppy with a win98 startup disk and system boots fine. So now I am in the middle of the install, how to I recover????
