problem with logging on to windows

i am using windows 98 2nd edition, everytime
i turn the computer on, it just go on without prompt to get username and login, what i can do is loggin off to get in by the correct user. I have already set the primary network logon to client for microsoft network. but that doesn’t help. what should i do? thanks in advance
