Problem With Printer

I am having HP-656C USP Printer, installed on Win2000 server. It was working properly but now last two or three weeks when I send the print, printer pick the print but during the priting or at the starting its stop and Red light start blinking… When I tried to print test page by using printer itself memory.. it did’nt…

is it problem with printer or OS?
