Problem with Veritas BackUp Exec 8.0

Before I call Veritas and spend my companies money I thought I would see if anyone has run into this problem. I just intalled Veritas BackUp Exec for NT/Win2000 and after the restart I get an error:
The Backup Exec 8.x Server service depends on the following nonexistent service: LanmanServer

Looking at Services I found that it stops when trying to load the BENT 8.0 Server Service and the rest of the services are dependent on this one. I looked for LannamServer in services and I don’t see anything. Can anyone be of assistance? I have a few points to spend.
