problem with y2k on a pentium75-board

outside the case i established win98a on a harddrive on a socket7-board. it has a benchmarq)similar to dallas) integrated battery.
it has an award-bios. when i put the board into the case i had to go to bios-setup and saw year 2094. every time wheni change to 2002 and boot again it stops and i have again to into cmos-setup. i have already dealt with y2k-problems using fixes from award too. there is a small cable coming from the powersupply which i do not know to what it serves. i will try to get a mb-manual of my SI54P-AIO Rev. 1.3
i will no try to check the y2k-software(i already have) on the phoenix-page.
