Processor

Hi,

I’m trying to find out if the amd athlon processor is good as opposed to the intel pent. processor. I’ve always been partial to the pent. processor. I do not know anything about the amd athlon.I’m asking because I’m would like to purchase a computer w/this processor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
