profile bloat in W2k Pro

I am a Network Consultant who uses his laptop at a # of Clientsm as such I log onto The clients Domain. this creates a new Profile. is there anyway to create a single User profile ?
I have tried copying to all users profile and that still doesn’t give me access to all of my registered programs.
I am about to go back to 98
