I have a notebook with NT 4 WS which dials into a PDC remotely. The employee was given the notebook to keep and will only be dialing in occassionally.
The problem is that NT4WS is using a cached copy of their credentials and I want to copy all the settings for their profile to the local NT4WS from the NT4SVR. Currently, the user is not listed in the NT4WS User Manager.
I want to convert them from a server-based profile (not sure if it’s currently a roaming one) to a local NT4WS user. Thisway they can make changes to the system as a user (permissions set accordingly).
Now the icing on the cake – I want to do it for two users as they share the notebook and have two different NT4WS configs (outlook, office, Norton, etc.)
Any ideas.
