Program error vcdif.exe

On one of my Win2000 sp2 I’m getting a “error vcdif.exe please reboot”
I looked in the event viewer and all I see is
Error:
Perfnet, event # 2004
Unable to open the server performance data will not be returned. Error code returned is data DWORD 0: bits: 0000:34 00 c0 words: 0000: c0000034

Any suggestions out there ?
