Program won’t run with domain account

I have a number of applications won’t run with a domain account that is copied from the local profile. The only way to make them work is the –, Run-As, then use the user’s local account to run the program. This is happening both with Quickbooks 2000 and Visio 2000. Office applications run fine. I’m thinking it’s a permissions issue, but not sure if it’s with files or in the registry. Any help would be appreciated.
