Promise raid driver? boot floppy?

Anyone know how to make a promise ata 100 ide card work correctly in win xp? how about make the promise array management utility work correctly? post show it functional but PAM does not show equal amounts of data being sychro’d it hard to varify data integrity. Then when you have a failure and get a black safe mode screen and try the reinstall control panel restore it askes for an A:/ floppy to perform it I don’t have one??? How about a boot disk with the restore executable on it?? cdrom preferably
