Sorry, I’m new here. I tried to add a comment to my previous post and ended up closing the thread. The first response did not help. There’s a better description in my first post, but basically:
Drive was formated.
C: FAT D: NTFS E: NTFS Partitions
NT4 SP5 Workstation installed on C:
Office 2000 installed on C:
Only one user at this point – Administrator.
When installing Office 2000 getting message ‘..Protected Storage has detected data created with a previous version. To continue to use this data, enter your Windows password below.’ This also happens when making some changes in Oracle (which is installed after Office 2000). Hitting ENTER or using administrator password does not satisfy the prompt. When/how did this encrypted situation come about? Can it be turned off?
